Birak: December – January
Is characterised by arid easterly or north easterly winds in the mornings and a coastal sea breeze in the afternoon. The Wanajet (peppy flowers) have fallen, letting us know the rains are easing up. The sun shines hotter and the days are longer. The region's beaches are a paradise for lovers of sun, sand, and sea, providing ideal conditions for beach activities.
Djilba: August – September
As the days start to warm up, explosions of wildflowers bloom in the South West over Djilba. Yonga Marra (Kangaroo Paw) begins to flower yellow blossoms, and Koola (Emu Plum) starts to fruit. It is also a great time to try and catch some djildjit (fish). Whale watching from August to November transforms the coastline into a hub for nature enthusiasts hoping to spot the
majestic migration of whales, including the elusive blue whales. Concurrently, the region bursts into colour with vibrant wildflowers blooming.

Tour Terms and Conditions Booking and Payment: All tour bookings must be confirmed with full payment at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable unless specified under the cancellation policy. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations made at least 14 days before the tour date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 7-14 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds are available for cancellations within 7 days of the tour date. Price includes Accommodation and Continental Breakfast Only Changes to Itinerary: Baywatch Retreat reserves the right to modify or cancel tour itineraries due to weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or low participant numbers. If a tour is cancelled, guests will be offered a full refund or an alternative date. Health and Safety: Guests must inform Baywatch Retreat of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements before the tour. Participants must follow all safety guidelines provided by tour operators. Liability Waiver: Baywatch Retreat is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the tour. Guests participate at their own risk.
